Philadelphia Museum of Art: Daydreams

From November 22, 2009 - June 13, 2010 the Philadelphia Museum of Art will showcase Marcel Wanders' favorite projects over the last twenty years. The multimedia exhibition is created specifically for the Museum and shows prototypes, personal editions, and objects never before exhibited.

Using shifting video images, light and sound Marcel Wanders created a theatrical landcape called Daydreams. The objects and movies in the installation show his interior and product design and create new links and relationships between them. The movies are a poetic and dynamic way to look at seemingly static objects and interiors.

Are you fond of white

Can you catach a rainbow

Would you care for a little fright

No such thing as over the top!

Have you heard the news

Do you believe broken porcelain brings luck?

Sparkly like silver or shiny like gold

Have you ever met Marcel

Meet the family

Are you a metal head?
