To honour the 90^th anniversary of one of the most iconic figures of our generation, Mickey Mouse, Marcel Wanders presents the One Minute Mickey and One Minute Minnie. Handcrafted in life size scale by the French Workshop Leblon Delienne, these playful sculptures are painted in Marcel Wanders’ world-renowned signature One Minute Delft Blue style. With this colour palette, the studio creates a new way to experience the iconic characters who have brought happiness to millions around the globe. The delft blue style perfectly accentuates all of Mickey’s and Minnie’s familiar shapes from their famous ears to his button nose and oversized shoes. Adding to the collection is Mickey Mouse, Cloche À Fromage. This centerpiece cheese platter is designed in either chrome or white finish, and completed with a glass dome in Marcel Wanders’ signature bell shape. With these pieces, the studio brings the romanticism of past ages into the contemporary moment. As a separate piece, the handcrafted resin figurine of Mickey has been reimagined as Sitting Mickey and is now available in four coloured finishes, including chromed gold, chromed silver, glossy red and matt white.
