Introduced during the opening of Starbucks Reserve Roastery in New York City (2018) the Illusion of Time collection includes The Queen’s Scarf – a luxurious silk scarf featuring coloring reminiscent of coffee stains and printed with a stylish medley of aged clock cogs, spinning wheels, rabbits, bells, flowers, tropical birds, butterflies, black and white portraits and references to Alice in Wonderland. The Sandman Hour glass is an ancient measurement of time captured in black aluminum that reveals a cross section to give an inside perspective of time. The Mad Tamper is a charming, highly-polished stainless-steel tamper that extends the extraction time, intensifying coffee flavor with every sip. The Ballerina Spinning Top is a gold anodized aluminum spinning top that suspends time as it revolves. The Diva Bell is a ceramic welcoming symbol featuring silver titanium glazing and denoting a time of gathering around the table. The Night Watcher Candle holder is a durable and elegant candle holder that supports tall candles. The One Minute Bunny is a ceramic nod to Alice in Wonderland. Made with 24K gold plating it expresses the random beauty that can be captured in just sixty seconds. The Tick Tock Keychain is crafted with interlocking eternal rings and resembles a pocket watch. The front features engraved sentences, such as the collection name. On the back, both Marcel Wanders and Starbucks Reserve logos are engraved.
